YOUR SOURCE FOR MONEL FLANGES
Monel flanges are nickel-copper alloy flanges designed for severe corrosion environments including marine, chemical processing, and oil and gas applications. Monel 400 and K-500 alloys provide exceptional resistance to seawater and harsh chemical environments.
We maintain one of the largest inventories of Monel flanges in the Houston area. Every flange is manufactured to ASME, ANSI, and API standards with full material traceability and certification.
Monel flanges are nickel-copper alloy flanges designed for severe corrosion environments including marine, chemical processing, and oil and gas applications. Monel 400 and K-500 alloys provide exceptional resistance to seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkaline solutions while maintaining high strength at elevated temperatures.

Monel 400 has been around since the early 1900s, developed by the International Nickel Co., and it's still one of the go-to materials when seawater and corrosion are part of the equation. It's a nickel-copper alloy built for tough environments such marine applications, chemical processing, oil and gas, etc... Think anywhere you're dealing with fluids that would eat through lesser materials.
Fair warning though: Monel can be trickier to machine and work with compared to some other nickel alloys, so it's worth knowing that going in.
Where it really shines is in damper, salty, or chemically aggressive conditions. It handles seawater, steam, caustic solutions, and a wide range of acids well, particularly hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids as long as they're de-aerated. You'll commonly find it in strainers, valve components, fasteners, wiring, and other hardware that lives in corrosive service.
A few things worth knowing about how it performs:
Marine & Offshore
Chemical Processing
Oil & Gas Production
Desalination Plants
Pharmaceutical
We supply flanges for data center cooling systems, fire suppression piping, and critical infrastructure. Hyperscale facilities require precision-manufactured flanges that meet demanding specifications for reliability and performance.
A Monel flange is made from a nickel-copper alloy (approximately 67% nickel, 30% copper) that provides outstanding corrosion resistance in marine environments, chemical processing, and applications involving hydrofluoric acid and alkaline solutions.
Monel 400 is the standard alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. Monel K-500 is an age-hardenable version with higher strength and hardness, achieved through additions of aluminum and titanium. K-500 is often used where both corrosion resistance and high strength are required.
Monel flanges are available from 1/2 inch through 24 inches in standard sizes, with larger custom sizes manufactured to order. Common pressure classes include 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500.
Monel flanges are manufactured to ASME B16.5, B16.47, and ASTM B564. Material specifications follow UNS N04400 for Monel 400 and UNS N05500 for Monel K-500.
